Leadership Development

Develop a confident and effective leadership style.

Introduction:

Someone once said “what goes around comes around”.  That is certainly true when it comes to leadership. Thankfully, modern leadership differs from the old model of 'control and command'. Society has changed dramatically in recent years and with it, the expectations that people have of those who lead them. Now it is much more about openness, respect, empathy, drawing people together and creating shared visions. The ability to make tough decisions is still critical, as is the need to communicate effectively.

Much work has been carried out regarding the behaviours of effective leaders and this workshop is based on that research.

Includes:

Analysing a variety of leadership models e.g. situational leadership and using practice sessions to choose the most effective leadership style.

Outcomes:

Delegates will be able to demonstrate a more focussed leadership style and will also have the ability to choose the best, most appropraite leadership style. This in turn creates more motivated individuals and teams and encourages a greater commitment to achieving results.
